Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for duties relating to purchasing, sourcing, contracting, distrbution and storing of
supplies, materials, equipment and services in a custom job shop manufacturing business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Accountable for adhering to corporate Quality Management System
Negotiate and recommend execution of contracts for the purchase of supplies, materials, equipment and services from domestic and international sources of supply
Purchase or contract for supplies, materials equipment and services required by individual
manufacturing departments according to acceptable purchasing practices
Review requests for purchases to determine if they are reasonable in quantity and quality and to determine whether supplies already on hand in the requesting department or in other departments can be used to fill the request
Responsible for the inspection of all supplies, materials, equipment and services purchased to insure conformance with specifications
Research domestic and international sources of supply
Manage the consignment programs currently in place and monitor their effectiveness
Operate and maintain storage facilities for all supplies, materials and equipment
Maintain proper inventory control records
Maintain records as to the source and supply of purchases
Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, and markets
Managethe purchase and maintenance of existing company vehicles
Responsible for identifying unused, discontinued or obsolete inventory and determining a source of revenue for such inventory
Develop and implement procedures that increase efficiency and effectiveness within the purchasing function guidelines
Assist Customer Service with pricing requirements as requested
Knowledge of the materials used in the manufacture of our products
Prepare and maintain department reports
Comply with all local, state and federal environmental and employee protection laws
Perform special assignments and miscellaneous duties as required
Position requires working extra hours as necessary to meet market demands

The National Account Representative is responsible for operating within the budget established in the corporate business plan and assisting in the planning and proposing of that budget. Responsible for industry tradeshows, promotions and sales and customer related functions.

Growing, high energy, cutting edge recognition company looking for an account executive to
generate new sales opportunities. Must have sales experience in promotional/recognition market, have integrity and be highly motivated with "can do" attitude. Representative will work with a team of strong professionals at our manufacturing facility in Cottage Grove, MN. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple clients and multi-line representatives to develop and execute promotional campaigns. The position entails prospecting new business within existing accounts and networking through accounts to grow the company's business.
